What is Create Spot—and how would you explain it to someone outside its industry?
Create Spot is an online platform that helps users discover and follow their favorite creators’ favorite places, allowing them to plan their itineraries accordingly. Many people now choose where to go based on places visited or recommended by their favorite creators. However, this information is often scattered across posts and videos throughout the internet, making it difficult to find, organize, and keep track of. Create Spot was created to organize this information in one place, help users discover new places, and make travel planning more efficient.
What happened that made you create Create Spot?
Create Spot was inspired by two common problems. First, when I see my favorite creators visiting interesting places on social media, I often want to visit those places when I have the chance. However, by the time I remember them, the posts have already disappeared from my feed, making the places difficult to find and keep track of. Second, when friends visit Japan, they often ask me to recommend places to visit. I usually have to suggest the same few spots repeatedly. With Create Spot, I can simply share a complete list with them, allowing them to explore the recommendations and choose the places that are most convenient for their itinerary.
How does Create Spot work from a customer’s point of view?
You can visit create-spot.com to start adding your favorite spots or liking places that interest you. Simply paste the Google Maps URL of a place, and AI can automatically generate its description. Our team of curators can then enrich and improve the content later. You can also add personal memories to each spot and choose whether to keep them private or make them public. Discover and follow your favorite creators’ recommendations, browse curated collections, plan itineraries with friends, and contribute new places to the community.
